Algirdas (Al) Juocys, D.O.,
is the Chief Medical Officer of Medical Network One and one of the original six physician co-founders. In addition to his responsibilities for Medical Network One, Dr. Juocys is a private practice family physician at Country Creek Commons Family Practice in Rochester, Michigan. Through his practice, Dr. Joucys is able to implement the most current patient-focused approaches to primary care, including the patient centered-medical home, which is being championed in Michigan by Medical Network One, web-based follow-up visits, electronic prescribing and Medical Network One’s innovative Chronic Care Travel Team.
Ewa Matuszewski,
is the CEO of Medical Network One. A champion of innovative primary care and chronic care initiatives, Ms Matuszewski has guided Medical Network One throughout its impressive growth history. In 2003, she directed Medical Network One through the elementary phase of organizational transformation and succeeded in sustaining the effort. She oversaw the creation of Medical Network One’s chronic disease management division, The Michigan Institute for Health Enhancement, which designs, develops and delivers high-quality, cost-effective, chronic disease self-management programs in conjunction with physicians, nurses, allied health professionals, employers and corporate health partners.
